Sorry Twizzel, but I think that's a bit simplistic. Leaving aside the fact that our special forces have probably got quite enough to do in Iraq and Afghanistan at the moment, I cannot see any way in which their involvement in the "War On Drugs" in the UK is going to help. So far they don't seem to have won the "War On Drugs" in Afghanistan do they?

Special forces cannot realisticaly be expected to solve social problems created by stupid laws that politicians have created and refuse to ammend, or even discuss.

Further, I am against the militarisation of civilian policing.

All contact with outsiders should be through glass screens fitted with microphones.
Solitary confinement is little more than torture, in fact in some way it is worse. It should not be used.

What we need is to remove these laws.

Successive governments have brought in far to many ridiculous laws

Rule of thumb If my or anyone else behaviour is NOT harming anyone else why should it be illegal ?

Absolutely. Before such laws existed; Lord Byron, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Thomas de Quincey, Percy Shelley, John Keats, Lewis Carroll, Charles Dickens, Edgar Allan Poe, Henry Longfellow, George Washington, William Wilberforce and Queen Victoria were all heavy heroin users. I won't say "and it never did them any harm" as some of the awful poetry produced as a result not only demonstrates they it did, but has continued to bore generations of children stupid ever since. I do not believe though that any of those named found it necessary to live in a squat or to rob chemists' shops.

When are people going to realise that the drug cartels are protected and the production protected by our special forces in Iraq and Afghanistan at the moment, production has soared.

Exactly. They control the drug trade, too much money in it not to. Half of this lot on here are so brainwashed by the establishment it's embarrassing.

Just found this on WHATREALLYHAPPENED.COM

Lt. Col. Bo Gritz, America's most highly decorated Green Beret, tells MD, Jr. that the CIA is involved in the illegal drug business, namely heroin from Burma.

A fine example I think of what can be done here.
Any one that supports such a regime really should consider not calling them selves British conservatism may be British communism or British national socialist workers party.

Along with the drug dealers they would have also rounded up the likes of you for not agreeing with all state decisions.
