Well with this new bill if it comes to fruition I'm sure it will say more than women only short lists.

Absolutely convinced now that Straw is starting his Leadership Campaign. We should be seeing mutterings of a NuLabour Leadership Election within the next couple of weeks. Probably after the Crewe-Nantwich by-election.

Yet another example or racist New Labour ignoring white ethnic minorities .. a third of all minorities yet consistently underepresented and marginalised in favour of " black" minorities under Labour's slogan " anyone but white will do " ( eg looming legislation to legalise racial discrimination by "black only" short lists . It just reinforces the reality of New Labour's squalid mind set of viewing and defining society as black versus white and doing anything to secure the "black" vote which it cynically assumes is racist and votes on ethnic advantage lines.

How are New labour any better than BNP ?

Labour's racism and sexism is disgusting.

Just as worrying, Straw appears to be saying that the rulings that the judges make are influenced by their race and sex. That not only means that the system isn't working, but also that judgments are essentially a lottery, depending on whether you get a white judge or a black judge etc.

The only alternative is that he isn't suggesting that white male judges are incapable of making objective judgements, but that would mean that the 'representative' system is purely for public relations. In which case he is advocating the appointment of less able candidates on the basis of skin colour and sex... i.e. his wants to reduce the effectiveness of the judiciary in order to appease...er... I can't imagine any sane person actually supporting this nonsense.

Jack Straw[alias Stravinsky] is not even English or British being the son of jewish immigrants. Significantly he and others of his ethnic group take it upon themselves to dictate to us that there are "too many white judges".
Another case of the tail wagging the dog.

Quite so. If you look at the make up of Labour cabinets since 1997 there are very few English ministers. Most of them tend to be jews, Scots and an assortment of other foreigners.
It has become fashionable in Blair`s Britain to denegrate English people in particular and white people in general.
So in effect England truly is under foreign occupation.
