The German government is absolutely right to proscribe these and similar disgusting organisations.
It is to Britain’s shame that our government do not do the same to holocaust deniers and so called “revisionists” organisations and prosecute those who DO perpetrate the lies that they do to support the denial or even the downplaying of the murder on a industrial scale conducted by Nazis. Note that I wrote Nazis, not Germans, as there were more than a few willing participants in the attempt at genocide of Jewish people conducted in the Death Camps. What I do regret is the way that the possibly more awful genocide that the Japanese conducted especially against the Chinese is virtually ignored by us in the west. Also how the Japanese to this day play down the actions of their “troops” and other “interests” during the period that included the rape of Nanking and the unspeakable inhuman horrors conducted in and around and as a result of the work by Unit 731. Europe prosecuted the Nazi war criminals at Nuremberg and executed the worst that could be rounded up. The US took the research reports from Unit 731 and “ghosted” the worst to the US to safety and freedom in return for cooperation. There’s a very great deal about WW2 and what took place afterwards that puts the US in a very bad light indeed and although the Nazis were and remain brutal stupid pigs with cunning in place of intelligence at least Europe including Germany did something about cleansing it’s filth from the population. Japan did not, and the US aided them in this denial of the crimes that the Japanese had committed. Give me Europe any day.

It is a clear question of freedom of speech. The state should not have the right to stop people writing and talking about such things.

Especially where the argument for free speech is used to create or support or worse yet promote a lie, a lie that many people will WANT to believe such as racial inferiority / superiority. That would be bad enough, but where it gets even worse is when lies being published under the umbrella of free speech is then interpreted in other societies where the concept of free speech is anathema as fact on the simple basis that if it were NOT true “The Government” of wherever the rubbish originated from would have either banned it or found some way to prevent it. The classic example of where “free speech” must hit the buffers is the freedom to shout “fire” in a crowded theatre when there IS no fire. Let’s keep in mind that right now, and for some time, Schickelgruber’s infamous Mein Kampf is a huge best seller in the middle east especially since it is now available in Arabic, as is the work The Protocols of the Elders of Zion which not long ago was broadcast as fact by many middle eastern television and radio channels. “If there wasn’t truth in it then it would have been banned” is the argument put up by those who know little about our world. Our very freedoms are the gateways through which we are being invaded.

Ah Bear darlink. I thought for a post you were on the road to recover
your sanity but your reply to this shows you still need the professional help I recomended. "It’s a whole lot more complex than that." Free Speech. Period. I ask again The Bear, How much do you get paid?
