To support our pig farmers who are going out of business, we must support them and buy British pork, gammon, bacon and ham. Ignore that cheap foreign stuff the shops are full of and search out some proper home grown meat instead.
Better still, eat meat from rare breeds if you can. The way to ensure the survival of our traditional livestock breeds is by buying their meat, wool and eggs, and they're better reared than the intensively-farmed commercially-produced hybrids.
