In the period between WWIII and WWIV there were many political parties competing for power in the UK. By 2012, Common Purpose had established themselves in government. It had become dangerous to be a member of any opposition party. Many were beaten and killed for speaking out against the European Union. During the war opposition parties were outlawed and some disintegrated. Others survived and operated clandestinely, transforming themselves into underground resistance organizations. The focus for some shifted to providing food, without ID chips, receiving and transmitting news and information, and boosting morale. Opposition websites were {verboten}forbidden, but almost every underground party published one. The penalty for possession of a computer was death. Yet, for example, in Dundee, an underground group operated a website blog for five years.

An allegiance to Great Britain I would certainly be for. But not one to the Queen.

Is there still such a thing as Great Britain? It strikes me there's three and a half countries that used to be a thing called Great Britain, and that's about all.

With everything that has gone on over the last 60 odd years, I can't help but feel that the Crown has been complicit in the globalisation and decimation of anything that would oherwise serve to protect our national idenity, culture and ethnic make-up.

One cannot help but think that a head of state elected in the French manner but elected for "life" would be far more useful and representative than an in-bred francophonic blue-blood that was originally foisted upon us by an act of agression. In fact, monarchs are nothing more than mafiosa style families demanding loyalty from its mobsters and servile citizens, using brute force and violence to enforce their will. This has been the basis of 'our' monarchs power historically and to their accumulation of wealth and land.

Good riddence to them when the time comes.

Before children are asked to swear an oath to the Queen and this country they must be told about this countries great history. So that they can grow up to be proud to belong in the United Kingdom but before that can happen we should dump all the modern history books which have been written to meet the requirement of political correctness rather than historical accuracy

He should have been taught from birth that he can be proud of this countries great history, educating our children is surely every parents duty. It would appear that in his case you failed.
