Nothing wrong with the Germans, the Nazis are a different matter but a) not all Germans were Nazis by a long shot and b) that was TWO generations ago.

As for WW2 we've got more than a few things that we should be ashamed of.

Now the Japs, there's another matter and the Americans aren't the great rescuers that they are presented as either.

Let’s start with “bomber” Harris and his bombing campaign deliberately targeting German civilian populations.

Then the bombing raids on the Ruhr dams and move on from there.

How about the destruction of Dresden for another.

Then of course the behaviour of the much vaunted “Tommy’s”. Now I don’t blame them, I would probably have acted very much the same way that they did but it’s important not to overlook that OUR side were just as bad in many respects as the Germans, especially in the case of most of the Wehrmacht who with admittedly many exceptions little more than the PBI.

Let’s also keep in mind the atrocious behaviour of the Americans and especially their abuse of German POW’s at at Andernach.

That was wrong in so many ways.

If you'd tried to make that sort of speech in Hyde Park at the end of WW2, you would have very quickly been dangling from a lamp post!
The Nazis were Germans , not some sort of different breed, as modern day "Liberals" seem to think! Before you start accusing Allied Soldiers of war crimes, remember who started the war!

The nazi's were germans, the fascist were Italian, the french put up little fight, and our royal family were good freinds of Hitler.

Thank god for Churchill and chamberlain and the likes of, who refused to stand down and stopped the last attempt at the new world order.

It's not fair to blame the German people. They were held with in a properganda machine which built up hatred towards jews in the same manor we are now held with in a propaganda machine to build hatred towards Muslims.

I'm going to make this quite clear I can not detest the muslim religion. How ever I also can't bare to watch a media and government that tells us on the one hand we should all be scared and fear full of the threat from muslims with in our own country terrifying the pant's off every one and in the next sentence stating that muslims should be welcomed in to the country and given extra rights building up racial tension.

I would have been all ready at one point to have kicked every muslim out of the country such was the fear generated by the media. Were it not for watching a short video about the jews that live in Iran a far goon impression of that the media try's to install in our minds of the workings of Iran.

It should also be pointed out the germans never new of the concentration camps why would they have been told.

Adolf Hitler had his propaganda machine which would have no doubt made the German people feel that we were some kind of evil virus on the world. I'm sure there were those who new better but you might soon go missing if you spoke out.

The first victim of war is truth.

The victor wright's the history books.

Churchill summed it up perfectly " history will be kind to me for I intend to wright it".

Don't give praise to Chamberlain, he was the top appeaser! You say the Germans never knew about the concentration camps! I suppose those same Germans didn't know why all Jews in their midst had to wear the "Star Of David" arm bands? My late Aunt was German, she once told me Communism was much worse than Nazism. Her and her sisters lived in Berlin throughout the War. Her German niece told me there was no way her Mother and Aunt did not know about the plight of the Jews! My Aunt hated Jews to the day she died!
