Default Cash for pubs to offer loo breaks

BBC NEWS | UK | Cash for pubs to offer loo breaks

Quote:
The desperate dash to find a public loo on Britain's high streets could be eased with a plan to pay businesses to open their toilets to non-customers.

Pubs and restaurants across the UK will be encouraged to open their toilets in exchange for as much as £600 a year. The government is expected to urge local councils to adopt the scheme in order to address a national shortage.
WTF. I doubt many pubs need paying to allow this anyway.

Or why don't the local council's actually open public loo's and keep them clean and free of junkies and cottagers?
Ohh because that would require effort and dosen't need some kind of diversity officer involved (and would no doubt infringe on the rights of the people sh*gging in the bogs).

See what happens when BT got rid of all those red phone boxes

Wasn't it Carry on at your Convenience that had the immortal line something like

"When someone comes in to actually use the toilet it's like a breath of fresh air" ?
