Cue arguments over what the word "reasonable" means.

Is it "reasonable" to own a gun to protect yourself against intruders, or is it unreasonable because you may shoot a human being!!11!!!1!

Is it "reasonable" to drive at 100 MPH because you're a good driver and drive a well maintained vehicle or is it unreasonable because you might hurt a teen who's playing real-life frogger?

That's the main contention with all of politics. What's reasonable? One man's reasonable is another's unreasonable. And let's face it - to a certain sector of society (*cough*Guardianreaders*cough*), everything is unreasonable. Especially the fun things.

Still? Wouldn't they have gotten rid of that when they stopped allowing "common sense" in the courts?
