It is so sad. You will never know the one who created you nor will you ever know the Christ-like way to live. Whatever childhood you had it wasn't a respectable one.

Who said anything about sight? I already said you can prove things without science (i.e mathematics and logic).

Well I don't, its just an assumption we make because God doesn't seem to intervene with our lives in a huge way. I believe in divine Providence that God has set a good life for me, whether I choose to follow it or not. But for all we know all could be the will of God, every cancer patient every car crash every birth and every general election could all be the will of God. But I believe God works more through people.

I don't mean sight as in just what we can see, its a saying for earthly means. And learning and understanding has abserlutley nothing to do with atheism.

Funny, when that evidence is put before me a draw a different assumption. My assumption is visible every day and with every action I take.

We are responsible for our own actions, no force or being outside of human thought or natural process impacts our lives.

Unless you are willing to embrace it.

If my childhood wasn't respectable, then I pity the other's who weren't as fortunate as I. noachian, if you truly believe that there is a God and you look on yourself as some sort of "Faith" salesman, then take the advice of an old agnostic, change your "patter"! The line you're using at the moment, doesn't convert , it alienates!

Default Archbishop of Wales in prelatial fundamentalist mood!

This thread was started to alert us to the Archbishop of Wales' assertion of an "atheistic fundamentalism" spreading through the country. However, he fails to take notice of his own fundamentalism in pushing through the novelty of "women as bishops" in the Church in Wales and making little or no room for those who, in conscience, disagree with him.

Nobody ever claimed that it did. Do you even know what atheism is? It is a lack of belief in a God - it is the outcome of logic, evidence and reason - not the cause.

P.S. what non-earthly means are there? I'm looking forward to the answer on this one!
