I have nothing against Muslims, in fact I have a lot of respect for them. All I wish is that they were practising their faith and living out their lives in countries other than this one.

My contempt is reserved for two types of non-Muslims.

(1) The BBC type - the producers of this ridiculous programme would be typical - who believes that in every stern Muslim there's a gayhugging PC social 'liberal' struggling to get out. Strangely, they don't apply this curious logic to BNP-ers and other Europeans of a like complexion.

(2) The 'Neo-con'/ 'Neo-imperialist' type who although frequently (admittedly not always) 'socially liberal PC' at home, believes that the White Man's Burden now encompasses the duty to use fire and sword to bring US-style political corruption to the Muslim world.

Because it is Christmas Day I will refrain from stating the fate/s I would reserve for these people.

I did not watch this programme, but the impression I formed from the pre-transmission publicity that it was trying to show people (by the back door method) that Islam and the western way of life were incompatible.

Yes it is outrageous brainwashing. So what is new? Just half an hour ago they were doing one on faulty environmental science with dark foreboding music and so on. Whatever the TV is broadcasting there is spinning going on but just like the people of the old USSR they knew what Pravda was all about and this actually helps the process for those that can see it.

So we end up as a divided society, one group hardly ever watches TV and the other group is addicted to it. More and more people I meet these days will gladly state they do not watch/own a TV. A TV is like a status symbol in reverse, it is an embarrassment to say that you actually watch it these days. The important thing is the group who reject this stuff grows and it appears there is ample evidence to show this. Even printed media is feeling the pinch as can be seen by advertising revenue decline. Advertisers make little money out of dullards who are as thick as two short planks and you can see what is going on. The Internet is the new mass media and it is far superior since it is a many to many communication device and something far more democratic by its very design. So we can stick two fingers up at the TV and carry on without it.

I didn't watch it either, but knowing the mindset of media people I would thnik that unlikely.

More probably the conclusion would be that Sharia etc is all part of Britain's rich diversity. Conduct which would be roundly condemned in the case of a white 'fascist' must be - in some mysterious sense - 'understood' when Muslims are involved.

It doesn't just apply to Muslims. They just happen to be by far the biggest group involved. It would apply with equal strength to head-hunters, although the do-gooders do seem to be in a pickle over female circumcision.

The so-called 'Neocons' - in my opinion equally obnoxious and dangerous - are by and large egalitarian leftists who started their political lives associated with the cult of diversity but who have since rebelled violently against its most ridiculous manifestations.

I didn't see it. I would have looked at it if the following week it had been balanced by showing six Muslims living like Christians for a week. The whole thing was probably a publicity stunt to show Muslims in a good light because of their recent bad press! It reminds me of "Not the 9 O'clock News", when Rowan Atkins playing the part of a Vicar said, "Is the Devil all bad"!

Did you all hate the Irish with such passion because of the actions of the IRA?

Do you all fear Americans, because their leaders bomb the **** out of anything that moves?

Do you look at Chinese people with suspision, because of the bad things their government do/have done?

Did you ask if the Russians loved their children too?

It is so easy to see why we are in the state we are. Powermongers just scare the little sheep to death and they do exactly as they are told.

Yes that's true, but so did most Irishmen at the time of the IRA bombings. However, this didn't mean that the IRA weren't a serious problem. Nor did it mean that all peace-loving Irishmen would inform on terrorists from their community

The Muslim fundamentalist problem is a worldwide phenomenon. and it potentially affects all of us.

Of course the American have behaved like bulls in a china shop with their ridiculous idea that Muslims want their pork-barrel politics.

Possibly a way forward may be to agree spheres of influence with the West agreeing not to interfere in Islamic affairs. However that doesn't address the problem of the Bomb.

Perhaps there's no way out.
