We need a national campaign to defend Christmas to be set up to put a stop to this politically correct anti-Christian and anti-religious nonsense.
I remember Wintervil very clearly Britannist and as a church Choir member my views have not changed, they can take Wintervil and stick it in a 4 part harmony.

Default Birmingham City, "Wintervil", europhile Liberal Dims, politically correct claptrap

"Wintervil" embarrassed leaders of non-Christian religions in Birmingham who rightly thought that it was ridiculous (as we all did).

It also damaged the reputation of Birmingham City.

I wonder who was behind it. I know that the vile europhile Liberal Dims are partly in control of Birmingham City Council - "Wintervil" sounds like the sort of politically correct claptrap that they would come up with.

"Even more insultingly, I was asked instead to read a passage from Bertrand Russell, a militant atheist."

That is understatement of the year. His population culling agenda is more satanic in my opinion. Remember his remark about "useless eaters".

A Christian can accept the religious value of Christmas - that's fine by me. A secular person can accept the cultural value of Christmas. Heck, even the pagan gets a look-in!

I would like to know what the religious beliefs are of those who want to destroy this ancient tradition.
Well said!

I'm afraid it is our own people who are doing this. When I was on board my husband's ship, with a Bangladeshi crew, we had Eid-ul-Fitr festival and we were invited to the crew mess to help them celebrate. There was never any problem and we all enjoyed ourselves. Same at Christmas, they helped celebrate. It is our own PC brigade who are determined to destroy everything Christians hold dear, along with everything British. I believe it is communism which is serupticiously eroding our society.

Default Dubai, Christmas music, shopping centres, Muslim, cards

I am told by someone who has visited Dubai (United Arab Emirates) in December that Christmas music can be heard in shopping centres and is enjoyed by all shoppers of whatever religion in that city which is predominantly Muslim.

A Muslim colleague of mine was quite happy to sign Christmas Cards we were sending out from the office.

As Bluemerle says above, those behind the deeply unpleasant anti-Christian and anti-Christmas campaigns are often people who were baptised as Christians.

My Mother was a "Parlour Maid" in private service pre WW2. She said that one of the places she worked the lady of the house would often go to Church on a Sunday and then come home and make the Cook cry!

Default Muslim Christmas

I used to live in Birmingham. In fact many Muslims celebrate Christmas not as a religous festival but as a family event. It is a family gathering and a time to give each other presents. There is a campaign in the States to preserve Christmas.
