Back to the title and subject of this thread.

It’s a bit rich for Muslims to quote the ECHR when there is a separate Islamic Convention on Human Rights that was issued in Cairo.

Reading it with a little sheet on ones head (taking the Islamic perspective) it really is a piece of work. Weasel words, interpretation of who is and who is not covered, distortion, and downright misrepresentation of what is meant from what is written (and goodness knows what is written is bad enough) it is disgusting.

No problem! A pleasure! And ESPECIALLY so as it now seems that you are starting to see just what an inhuman thing that Islam is.

You see to understand just what the "Human Rights" a la Cairo actually means you must first metaphorically put a little sheet on your head.

Then when you do and use the Muslim perspective on life, the universe, and everything (thank's Douglas Adams!) what emerges is a very nasty dirty little piece of work that, like the Koran, can be used to justify all sorts of evil.

Here's another link. It's an analysis of just what is intended and what the Human Rights (Cairo version) actually means. It's a worthwhile read by someone who really does know what he's presenting.
