Do you want to know the real truth about this dodgy government advice on food? Fat is good for you!!! Yes, animal fat I'm talking about not the sunflower oil or indeed anything else that comes from a vegetable. You see animal fat is a different type of fat; it has longer chain polymers in it, which is why it is solid at room temperatures. The body needs this stuff and it is an essential part of our diet to keep us healthy, as is meat. It stands to reason really since we are evolved from humans that used to eat a lot of it in that humans eat meat and meat contains fat. And it does not make you fat in moderation, despite its name.
You want to know what makes you fat, it's called monosodium glutamate. This is a nasty chemical that is in virtually every artificial food, often called by other names these days. It screws up the hormones and also has the effect of making people eat more than their body can normally take as it has the effect of making people feel hungry. As you know this excess food will turn to fat if it is not burnt off and it won't be in front of a TV set. Also stress causes fatness. The government is lying to you, even about your health. Do you want to know about how salt is an essential chemical that the brain cells need to send signals to one another? |

However, it's quite true that fat (in food) doesn't make you fat (as in, Jade Goody). Carbs are the culprit. Anyone notice how obesity levels have risen since loads of foods (baked beans, etc.) have become "low fat"? Anyone notice how the Czech Republic churns out loads of ultra-slim supermodels yet their national dish is basically a tub of lard? Ever wonder why Coca Cola (which has no fat but 10.6g of carbs per 100ml) will turn you into John Prescott? The body essentially uses fats first, then starts to work on the carbs. Any excess calories which end up as body fat are *all* from carbs, since food fat cannot be stored as body fat. |

You've got to understand how deep the misinformation network goes - you think every mainstream newspaper is interested in reporting the facts to protect people's health or supressing the truth to boost the consumer food chain ? Please just consider it.....

They probably don't have shares in the UN either but that does not stop them from going on about global warming. You have to pick and choose with papers. Your article is typical of a whitewash style commonly employed. First set the reader up by painting the picture that everything is fine and dandy. Put a lot of trivial rubbish in the intro to get the reader in the frame of mind to believe anything they are told. Use lots of analogies and pander to the brain-dead mentality and then push the facts like the "who cares about the details" style. I see the Sunday magazines full of this brainwashing and I simply don't buy them. |
