Mrs B would probably see it otherwise.

Default Les Dawson's Mother-in-Law jokes

Mrs. B. may well be right.

I used to like Les Dawson's Mother-in-Law jokes - but I saw a documentary a while back which said that it is "no longer politically correct to make such jokes."

I used to love Les Dawson, one of my favourite comediennes. He like many very funny comediennes from that era could no longer work in PC Britain. I can just imagine present day "Lily Libby's" having strokes watching "Till Death Us Do Part"!

Default The Late Les Dawson

Yes, (The Late) Les Dawson was one of our all-time-great comedians.

I was greatly saddened to hear that he had died.

I regard him as one of the three or four best comedians this country has ever produced.
