Simply beating people or executing them achieves nothing. You have to tackle the cause of crime and anti-social behaviour.

I wonder what this man would say to the familys of people who were convicted of a crime that would in this new regime carry the death penalty only then to find years later that it was a miscarriage of justice.

Yes it does .The use of ,or more importantly threat of the big stick stops the little so and so's from stepping out of line and trains the mind to think of the consequences of their actions.

Miscarriages of justice is always the argument against the death penalty.When we have children being shot on their way home from football practice I think its time we took that chance.

There are many arguments against the death penalty, miscarraiges of justice is one.

Sounding lack the hang em and flog em brigade does nothing for a poltical partys electoral chances. But there are many in political partys that are simply too dim to understand that which helps explain why the status quo always remains in power.

for these youngsters, 'anti-social behaviour' is a misnomer, simply because they do not understand what social behaviour actually is. And why should they? Their minds are fed a constant diet of violence and depression, through the media, the TV (especially) and much of their music.

The unconscious mind cannot discriminate between what is real and what is fiction, neural pathways are burnt which accept violence and 'bad behaviour' as the norm.

Hence we have what we have.

That is what has been happening for the past 40 years and look what it has achieved? The answer is nothing! Soft on crime begets more and more social disorder and violence! The causes of to-days anti social violent society can be placed firmly at the door of the touchy feely Liberals!

There has been little/ no effort to tackle the cause of crime just more and more gimmicks and tough talk.
