Nobody can possibly provide those statistics and you know that? why am I so sure my methods would work, simple: e.g Does a school bully ever take on someone he /she knows will defeat them? No the school Bully would recruit members into a gang, have the person beaten up and beat the teacher up as well.

Thus we need to look into the casues of crime rather than simply offering crude soultions such as giving them ' the thrashing of thier life'

We need to look at where society has broken down we must mend it otherwise we are simply adding more violence to it.

You are resolute in your support for the death penalty, I respect your view but disagree. What would you say to the family of a man/woman wrongly executed, think about the likes of Angela Canning, Stefan Kiszco.

Think about all the disputes surrounding Barry George's conviction and then imagine their familys grief if they had been executed.

You would be right in your assumption in today's PC human rights led laws!

Your assumption would be wrong if we reverted to the days (my days) of corporal punishment. In my day the full weight of the law and society was behind the teacher and against the bully

In my day when corporal punishment in schools was the norm, gangs would have never reached the uncontrolled proportions of to-day because they'd all be in Borstal!

I have a friend who did two stints in Borstal and it changed his whole life!

You keep repeating this ,I ask you ,what do you tell the parents,brothers and sisters of yet another young person murdered on our streets? How many more before you stop defending these lowest of the low How many more before it sinks in that we have to rid this scum from our society?
