Default Egg-scuses

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6220684.stm

I'm waiting for the day I'll receive my diet card through the post, and the food parcels, telling me what food I have to eat and when on pain of hefty fines and being locked up.

I feel that if they ban the egg advert from the telly, they should ban ALL food advertising for the same reasons.

The Broadcast Advertising Clearance Centre (BACC) defended its decision, insisting that the adverts did not suggest a varied diet.
If that's the only justification then

Indeed they should, BACC use some fantastic wording
though, "we felt" "suggest a varied diet" "generally accepted"
"did not suggest a varied diet"

I always thought Ads had to be legal, honest, and truthful and not
to mislead,
are they now saying that they have to be suggestive also?
WTF is going on!!
