Of course as long as a Religion is not banned then people should be allowed to wear the symbols of their faith and no faith should have precedence over another. It's 37 years since I was in Croydon and it appeared to be a mainly white area then. Is it now predominately a Muslim area :?: If so then It's probably local Headteachers and councillors doing a bit of appeasing! :roll:
