'Chief constables may be forced to recruit minorities'
From today's Scotsman (brief extract): "Chief constables in Scotland will be forced to promote black and Asian officers if senior ranks remain "white-only", the Assistant Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police will today warn. Tarique Ghaffur will today warn of an irresistible demand for so-called "affirmative action" to make the upper echelons of the police more representative." How can this be called 'affirmative action' or 'positive discrimination'? There's nothing positive about racism.

Disgusting. And more doublespeak by calling using words like affirmative and positive. Discrimination is always discrimination. Positive discrimination simply means our leadres have decided it is ok to discriminate against one part of soceity but not another.
I am now genuinely starting to feel that the public will start to respond well to real anti-discrimination messages from UKIP. |

Note : no merntion of the gross under representation of white ethnic minorities in the police. If they bring in legal racial discrimination against indigenous ( the only country in the world to do so) its time for direct action . If they bring in legal discrimination against white ethinic groups as a whole then we are in the final stage of a racially polarised society in which racial discrimination becomes institutionalised with awful consequences. Any sniff of it, make formal complaints of racism.

The argument that is often spouted out, is that we need police officers from ethnic minorities to patrol and liaise with the public who are from ethnic minorities. Some truth maybe; but aren't police there to uphold the law-- and not to be social workers? |
