The cast of ITV drama ‘Primeval’ is “too white” according to someone called Russell T. Davies, who is, apparently, a scriptwriter. One critic commented "What is this man saying ? That no programme should be broadcast if it only includes white people in it?"

If you are looking at ethnicity as your criteria for ability to do a job your either stupid or trying to hoodwink somebody

I remember a year or so back the BBC came under fire from gay rights groups for not having enough believeable gay characters.

This led to the tabloids calling for new shows such as Eastbenders and Match of the Gay the gay rights groups were made to look as stupid as there behaviour had been.

When people say riddiclous thing like Mr Davies has done here they simply put back the cause they are supposedly fighting for.


Most people are quite happy to live in harmony regardless of sexual behaviour, ethnic background etc, stupid statements like those of Mr Davies simply stir up tensions far better than the likes of the BNP could ever do.
