Default Ho F****** Ho!

Ah, the madness of the PC world - doesn't it make you want to hurl?

Shilpa Shetty Accused Of Racism
Quote:
Celebrity Big Brother bully victim Shilpa Shetty has been accused of racism after starring in a TV comedy sketch alongside a 'blacked up' actor. The skit has echoes of the Black and White Minstrel Show, which was axed from British TV screens in 1978. Shilpa is seen laughing and joking with an actor wearing a large Afro wig and black make-up.

The images could shock thousands of her fans who backed her in the Big Brother house as she was subjected to racist taunts by Jade Goody.

They come from an Indian television programme called Extra Shetty that was screened in September 2004.

Eroll Walters, director of the Black Londoner's Forum, told the Daily Star: "It's crude and it's crass.

"We are not against satire or humour but these ideas are completely out of date. It is offensive and black people will be outraged."

Social commentator Jaye Williamson told the newspaper: "Maybe Shetty is the racist, mocking Africans on her TV show."

Poetic justice?

Not really, she wasn't the one to blow it all out of proportion.

She's just suffering the mass mental delusion of PC now. I'm sure she won't get it as bad as Jade et co.

Anyone got any comment from the director of the White Londoner's Forum?

No, thought not.

Read:" I like to play the racist card whenever the camera's near. Hell, I'll dress in women's clothing and shout "LOOK AT ME!" to get that attention.

Satire and humour? Go for it. Just don't do it about me or my homies, yo."

Footnote: If you take that in offence, calm down ;P

Default Miss Shilpa Shetty at the House of Commons

I put a link through to a report about this (see first posting to this thread at top of page) in the Big Brother thread (in the Talk About section) a couple of weeks ago.

On the subject of Miss Shilpa Shetty. I was disappointed that she chose to attend a public engagement with the sacked 'Europe' minister Keith Vaz MP. Vaz, a committed europhile, is not someone I think a great deal of.

Her meeting at the Commons last week with Blair (in which, unless I'm mistaken, she turned up in the car with Vaz) was an error. What does she want to meet a discredited failure like Blair for? A hugely unpopular man on the 'fag-end' of his disastrous political career.
