I would just like to say that I have been profundly distressed at the persuction of the church by the governement over the gay adoption laws.

It truly is sad when people cannot recognise the strength of peoples faith.

Time after time christians have comprimised whilst witnesing other faiths being pandered too

Time and again we have tried to reach accomodation with those who prefer a more secular country

The result has been that we have been seen as a soft touch and been trampled on. I for one hope this situation will change though I have my doubts.

People should have a safe enviroment to express there views in this country if they want gay marraige, gay adoption etc. However a safe enviroment should be provided for those of us who hold to what we beleive the Bible tells us. This is not happening, as with the recent legislation in Northern Ireland and the gay adoption laws here, the state is attacking the foundations of the church and my fear is that the church will not have the courage to bite back. HARD!!
A section of christianity in England is called "non-conformist". They would not conform the the imposed prayer book and associated legistation back in 1662, as a result they were persecuted.

Already today a type persecution or should I say exclusion takes place, I have experienced it. One matter not mentioned but important to christians should be the Lords Day (Sunday) Now totally ignored swept aside even though vague promises were made of protecting its character. But we knew it was all hogwash.

As for RCs being driven out. No, just travel to Merseyside, the North East, Strathclyde there the RC tail has wagged the dog for decades that is unlikely to change.

There is with some a damming up of frustration and a latent anger as we have seen a total discounting of a real christian voice. the Cof E, the now Liberal non conformists, the RCs have all tried to dance with the secular devil they have given away our birthrights and trodden down the things we hold precious.

A day will come when that dam will break and we will take back our possessions from usurpers and impostors.

But in the meanwhile we will oppose to the best of our ability everything the secularists and their bedfellows push our way.

What happened to hate the sin not the sinner?
Well no serious christian or theologian believed this tosh just shallow fast and loose sorts. It sounds good but it is ludicrous

Without the sinner there is no sin! Sin is an act of the sinner! they are one
To divide the two is a non starter an impossibility. The sinner is guilty of/for sin it is his responsibility.

ps No serious christian rejects the idea of belonging to the church, again it is another example of modern convenience christianity where a floating christian drifts about treating churches like shops.
