Janet Street-Porter quizzed over race complaint

So basically she has been arrested for calling someone names, one just one occasion.

Ludicrous.

Happened to a girlfriend of mine. A rational intelligent girl and a member of mensa. A comment in a heated telephone conversation in a moment anger was recorded. Possibly entrapment.
It got her a conviction.

Sometimes what is perceived as racist isn't its just a description.
The problem is if people have suffered from it they might be a little "chippy" about it.
Of course other people go out of their way to be offended

It's a very fine line and the big problem is the the guardianistas dont seem to understand that many ethnic minorities in the UK have a rascist minority
for example
Some Hindus - the lighter your skin colour the higher your caste
The snobbery between some Africans and some West Indians
I could go on but I think my point is made

She was editor of the fanatically pro-EU so-called 'Independent ( on Sunday' a low circulation anti-UKIP 'paper) for a period of time

:x . She has appeared on BBC 1 Television Question Time and spoke forcibly and uncompromisingly in favour of the EU and euro.

For several decades, Street-Porter has also helped promote through the media the politically correct society now forced upon us by a europhile minority. The television programmes Street-Porter used to produce for young people had a leftist 'one world' bias. It was clear what sort of place she wanted this country to turn out to be. Not one that most of us would approve of.

Some would say it serves Street-Porter right for being arrested :twisted: under a law her type (the 'one world' pro-immigration shower) backed and implemented in the first place.

But unless you have been and spoken to people from differing backgrounds
about their culture and way of life you may miss many of the subtlies of it

This is the problem that our "wise and learned great and good" have they haven't got a clue about indigenous culture let alone the different immigrant ones

Who knows if this is true or not, but JSP getting hauled over the coals is kind of funny, if it wasn't so serious. How come you get arrested so easily for this, but scum that do criminal damage seem to be untouchable?

I'm chuffed to bit's that she was arrested, of what I've seen and heard of her on TV she's of a type I cannot stand!
I've always hated the left wing, which was one of the clear reasons I voted Tory, pre UKIP!
