I would make it an article of faith that the Black and Asian dropout rates are due to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.

As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: 'The apparent success of our own multiethnic and multicultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation are growing as we celebrate 'diversity.'

It is reminiscent of George Orwell's book "1984." In that story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building: "War is peace," "Freedom is slavery," and "Ignorance is strength."

No, but I agree with most of what they say. They are far more professional than UKIP, and are voicing what most people are thinking.

The UKIP logo and website must be changed and made to look more professional.

The official UKIP website looks 'tired' - not that those of most of the other political parties are much better.

UKIP should talk about the issues which interest people more often.

What did UKIP have to say on the important day of 1st January, 2007 when the EU let in 30 million more east europeans (many of whom hope to come here knowing we can't stop them); when the EU adopted Irish as its 21st official language (costing us more money) and when Slovenia foolishly got sucked into the euro.

Total silence from UKIP. I'm pretty sure no press releases were sent out with comments from UKIP on the above matters even though the media are usually news-hungry at this time of year. Certainly UKIP said nothing on its website.

It's not every day that the EU expands, adopts a new language and that a nation enters the euro. UKIP should have been readly to make the most of such a day (as 1.1.2007) in publicity terms.

Instead, news reports on the likely influx of immigrant workers from south-eastern europe to the UK did not mention UKIP. Probably because the party had not contacted newsrooms with its view on EU immigration from Romania/Bulgaria or the damage Slovenia will do to its economy by joining a failure like the euro.

I did see Nigel Farage on BBC news discussing the enlargement of the EU on 1/1/07, he was up against a labour Lite drone and frankly slaughtered him and left him speechless - bet no one taped it and the Beeb will not reshow it

Thats what i think. As Britannist said, on January 1st there was no offical UKIP reaction to the Romaina/ Bulgaria issue. Before elections local UKIP branches should do surveys of their constituency to see what it is the people there want most. In my constituency they concentrate too much on pension stuff. Understandable as it is mostly elderly, but there are key issues they miss out on, crime, political correctness, transport and how the EU directly affects the area, throug regulation, tax ect. This way my local UKIP could have issues which effect everyone.

i think turning Britain into a bicultural nation, not that we have any power over this since we are ruled by the EU for now, is a damn right invasion. yes, imagrents are welcome, yes, you can have your mosqes, but no, you can't turn OUR country into YOURS. now **** off
