Default Rise in PC attacks on traditions of Christmas

There has been an increase  in the number of politically correct attacks on the tradition of Christmas:

TalkSport Radio presenter John Gaunt said on Sky Television News at 3.12 pm on 8.12.2006 in an interview about secularist attacks on the tradition of Christmas that a Sikh lady in Leicester ‘phoned his programme to say that she and her family would be celebrating Christmas. Mr. Gaunt also said that Chancellor Gordon Brown has said on 7.12.206 that it was wrong of nurseries to call Christmas parties ‘Winter’ parties. The Royal Mail, Mr. Gaunt said, had just sent a Christmas card to every postman which said on the front ‘Season’s Greetings’ and not ‘Happy Christmas’.

Abdul Hannam, a Muslim activist, told Sky News “No Muslim anywhere has complained about Christmas. Muslims are not calling for a secular Christmas.”

Alistair, a Sky Television News viewer in Dubai e-mailed at 3.47 pm on 8.12.2006 to say “Christmas is openly celebrated in Dubai – a Muslim land. There is no hint of animosity.”

The Sun newspaper edition of 9.12.2006 reported that bin men (dustbin waste collectors) at Labour –controlled Hull (the city which includes the constituency of the discredited europhile Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott) had been told not to wear Father Christmas hats because they breached Health and Safety rules.

At Torbay hospital in Devon, Salvation Army carol singers had been banned from wards because “they might infect the patients with germs” the Sun claimed.

Elstree in Hertfordshire would be without lights on its tree for the first time in 40 years because the local Health and Safety officials claimed that there would not be enough time to comply with new standards (the Sun said on 9.12.2006).

However, the Sun said that it had managed to get a Chris Noel, a job centre manager in south London, to lift a ban on staff putting up Christmas decorations 8) .

Good, nice to see the Christmas spirt has not been totally destroyed. Well apart from the 'tosser' Prescott. Prehaps the Hull members should protest outside his home.

I heard that Prescott had been taken Ill, I prayed that it would be fatal and hideously painful but to no avail, apparently it was something minor. Shame!

Infecting patients is the job of incompetent hospital management. If Carol singers manage to do it, what would the managers have left to do?

But you also have whackjobs claiming that non-Christians shouldn't celebrate Christmas.

Do they want the passage where their god looks down upon decorating a tree or something?

Point is; both sides are demanding people do this, that or the other. I just wish to drive a blunt object through them.

well in that case, the prophet muhammad got it wrong and he should've been teaching Jedi skills. muhammad is really a Jedi Master. anyone disagree?
