The Glasgow Fire Brigade has my utmost respect. they are highly regarded in the world of firefighting.

These brave men however are suffering from PC leadership now, who are the usual new labour mixture of fascism and socialism part of which is to condition/indoctrinate is operatives.

I am feeling sorry for those involved, but I wish this would blow the lid off such blatant political involvement by those who are driven by the gay/pc ideology

You know that the fire departments do things like this at ALL KINDS of events. For the fire brigades to treat the gays the same as they do anyone else they should paper the gay events just as they paper the straight events.

If the firemen continue to paper straight events but not the gay events they would be treating the gays with less consideration than other citizens.

Dude. There aren't any straight events. There's musical events, and art events, and sports events, and political events, and all kinds of other events. All of which will include gays, since there's no specifically straight events.

Therefore, if the firemen leaflet "everyone" events and gay events, the gays will be getting more coverage.

The gays want equality? Fine. They get their fire prevention leaflets at the mall the same way that everyone else does.

The question is how far are you willing to bend over backwards to be sure that gays are given equal treatment?

Are you willing to concede their legally sanctioned right to hold a parade but stop right there? If so, then we are in agreement.

Because every legal event which has enough people will be papered.

So that means the fire blokes would continue papering the malls and musical events, and art events, and sports events and political events.

And they would continue to paper the black events and the Irish events and the Latin events and the Chinese events and the political events of every stripe and the Judeo-Christian events and the events celebrating wars and the events that celebrate a giant rat who predicts the weather (See "Groundhog Day").

AND the gay events.
