While I have no wish to enter into a gay relationship with anyone, I am considering the possibility of emigrating to Venezuela ... I'd probably be more useful there than here.

Don't be silly.

United States ambassador to Venezuela William Brownfield has reiterated that his country has no intention to invade Venezuela.

The United States "has never invaded Venezuela, is not invading the country at present, and will never invade," he said at a public ceremony marking the US Independence Day. "There is no chance of a US invasion," he added.
Chavez can expect an invasion anytime soon then.

Pleased to hear it.

A mix of misplaced loyalty and indoctrination I suppose.
I am unable to think of any other cause for such actions

If you want I will present you links where you can read BOTH sides of the issue and then make up your minds as to which is most likely correct.

But only if you want me to.

Presumably some biased pro-Republican website. Anybody who wants that kind of rubbish can find it through Google.

The 7/7 commemoration today marks a fantastic opportunity for the British people to turn their backs on the evil aggresion that led inevitably to last year's tragedy. They're doing it in droves.

Britain and Europe say 'peace' and the clear message to Blair and other collaborators with the Bushite warmongers must be 'never again'.

Sorry Mike, I do not concur.

Bush didn't create this fifth column.

A friend of mine calls liberals, "Fuzzy brains." He/she says that one of the characteristics of liberals which makes their brains seem fuzzy is that they fail to read thoroughly, they also fail to interpret things accurately and that they allow their emotions to substitute for their brains.

You exhibit some of the characteristics of a fuzzy brained liberal. In fact, my friends say that ALL liberals are fuzzy brains, or just Fuzzies.

You'll notice that I offered to provide links which would provide BOTH sides of the issue. You overlooked this.

I offered to provide you a chance to become more enlightened and instead of taking advantage of the opportunity you chose to ASSUME that there was nothing more you could learn and that there was nothing I could bring to you that would be worth your time even considering.

You ASSUME it is one sided and worthless.

So, in effect, you would be likened to the old world Europeans who insisted, in the face of Columbus' return from the New World, that the Earth was flat.

You would then be considered not just Fuzzy, but persistently, doggedly Fuzzy.

I don't think many people would call me a 'liberal'
