The Union Flag (Union Jack) includes the Cross of St. Patrick who is the Patron Saint of Northern Ireland as well as the Irish Republic. The Cross of St. Patrick is one of three flags used by the majority of the people of Northern Ireland (who support being part of the UK) - the other two flags being the Red Cross on a white background (like the English Flag) with the red hand of Ulster on the centre of the red cross and the Union Flag (Union Jack). Consequently, Northern Ireland (and its Patron Saint, Patrick) is represented on the Union Flag - Union Jack throught Patricks' diagonal red cross. And very a nice flag the Cross of St. Patrick looks (as does the Union Flag too, of course). As well as being on the flags of a number of nations around the world (through its inclusion in the Union Jack) the Cross of St. Patrick (along with the English Cross of St. George) was actually made part of the flag of what is now the American state of Hawaii BEFORE the St. Andrew's Cross was added. |

My point was that the BNP don't use the English George Cross. BNP is the BRITISH National Party, not English National Party. |
