Bishop Investigated by Police

A Sunday paper reported the investigation by police INTO phpbb_the remarks of the Bishop of Chester.

The Bishop is quoted as saying that homosexuals need to 're-orientate' themselves.

Given the teachings of the bible are quite clear on the matter of homosexaulity are perfectly clear it is difficult I would imagine even for someone who does not believe in God to see what else the Bishop could have said on the matter.

Are we really saying that the church cannot preach the Bible in Britian today?

I'm a Christian, and I won't be bullied INTO phpbb_saying that practising homosexuality is acceptable.

Quite right too and neither will I

I hear a lot in todays media about the Church needing to modernise to reflect modern values which totally misses the point that the values represented in the bible were meant to last for the lifespan of earth!

Given that God gave us the bible, God gave us Christ (and all of his teachings), and MAN is telling us we're 'out of touch' - I've already chosen who I follow, so the end result is a 'no-brainer'.
