Default Ban Christmas!

Two out of three firms have banned Christmas decorations because of the fear they will upset workers from different ethnic backgounds.

Employment law firm Peninsula surveyed more than 2000 employers in the UK and found that 70% of bosses will not allow their staff to display cards or decoration.

What tosh! When in Rome you should do as the Romans do. I am proud of my culture and traditions and will fight for them come what may! I would never dream of going to another country and demanding they remove symbols of the culture to appease me. Unfortunately the PC fascists have made many Britons afraid of their own national identity. It is all part of the plan to destroy us a nation.

ah another one of those heard it from someone who was walking by someone who heard it from someone in the pub bla bla bla

you might want to have a look at

http://www.ukipforum.co.uk/viewtopic...ghlight=christ

where someone kicks up a big fuss about christmas being banned to find out that they had the wrong information.

how many other examples are the same sort of thing its called "chinese whispers"

all it takes is one person to say it and many people will repeat as fact

i just hope the headteacher got a good apology for that one

2/3 firms probably out of a sample of 3. Hardly indicative.

For those of you who have not met Scotty before, by the way, two points:-

1) Get your facts straight and referenced. If this party is to move forward in a professional way then the data has to be correct.

2) Leave her alone re spelling. She'll tell you why if she wants to - assuming it's the same scotgirl, of course. ops:

Does this directive apply to all posters on this Forum?

All I can think c_steam is that you must have both met, because,if you haven't then why would you do what you have just done?
You must be aware of how much time she/he consumed pre the Election, and how quickly she/he disappeared after them?
Scotgirl types are Trolls, even worse, this one is an avowed LAB/DEM one.

Hartlepool,

Much as I have enourmous respect for you, I must disagree. If scotgirl were purely here to sabotage our election campaigns (we don't do to bad a job of sabotaging our own campaigns with the shoot-my-own-foot approach to facts and figures) then why is she here now?

*looks for election looming* nope.

.
I read this story in the Express today. It included quotes from Muslim organisations who are totally against this kind of thing. They are not offended by Christmas decorations.

It's you who should get their facts right. The report was featured on the BBC News. But why should we expect a member of the Lib Dems to face reality? After all you are led by Mr Kennedy!
