BBC sickening Low. Pre moderation for posting Binyon poem.

This posting has been hidden during moderation because it broke the House Rules in some way.

Why?

Maybe because I posted this on Remembrance Sunday.

For The Fallen
With proud thanksgiving, a mother for her children,
England mourns for her dead across the sea.
Flesh of her flesh they were, spirit of her spirit,
Fallen in the cause of the free.

Solemn the drums thrill: Death august and royal
Sings sorrow up INTO phpbb_immortal spheres.
There is a music in the midst of desolation
And a glory that shines upon our tears.

They went with songs to the battle, they were young,

It's almost as bad as the point when the Royal British Legion laid the first wreath on the cenotaph. The band struck up Beethoven's Ninth, Ode to Joy', as the President of the RBL stepped off. I'm not sure if this is the first year that they've used it, but it is the 'national anthem' of the EU. Is this what people fought and died for?

Except that I don't agree that we should allow the EU to steal Ode to Joy from us. I get what you're saying though.
