I thought the popies commemorated all the dead of all wars, not just ours .... Since 1946 there has (so i am told) only been one year when a British Serviceman hasn't been killed somewhere in the world on active service. Many (not all) people today have no appreciation of our history, but then that's a deliberate ploy, get the young, teach them your viewpointt as fact, rubbish or ignore any alternatives and pritty soon you have adults believing exactly what you want them to......

Sorry Swivel Eyed Fanatic but we have been in many more "wars" and engagements than what you think. Probably about 20 more since 1945/6. Its true,every year some of our Military die in engagements,always have done and always will as long as we have corrupt cowards in various offices in this Country. Sad,but very true.

I know he was in India for years, HP - he actually doesn't talk a lot about it.
