Intbel - You wrote (at 1.36 pm on 11.11.2005):

(Quote) avoid using snail-mail wherever possible.
Send everything by e-mail .. documents, letters, files, pictures and greetings. (End of Quote)

You advised people to "send everything by e-mail" (your exact words).

I then merely enquired (to you) how the forgotten majority - the 51% of people in the UK who don't have a computer and/or e-mail in their homes - are supposed to receive or send electronic mail.

Not an unreasonable question... how about answering it instead of skirting around it?

Better still, send a hundred (thanks Matt) unstamped letters of complaint to your local Hindu temple.

First off, you wrote that I said "that he sends everything by e-mail" I didn't .. I send everything via e-mail .. "Wherever possible" which is not everything.

Your "Forgotten 51%" you ask how are they supposed to send/receive e-mail. Silly question, imo.

The answer is - they can not. Which is why I am unable to send everything by e-mail. They could use cyber-cafés or their library, I suppose, if they wanted to.

Your question is as silly as asking "How can you telephone someone who does not have a telephone?"

I think I'll go and watch the grass grow for a while ... 'tis a more peaceful occupation.

Default no e-mail

Let’s not fall out over it, Intbel. I was only pulling your leg. I copy articles/postings from this forum for one UKIP member I know who does not have their own computer or access to e-mail/internet.

I don't fall out with anyone, no worries, I was not being exactly serious myself.

6.00 am ... gotta ferry to catch ... well, gotta catch a train to get to the ferry terminal where, if all goes according to plan a coach will be there to take me via ferry to the home of the Strasburger.

I have packed the essentials ... red brothel creepers, gas stove so's I don't have to buy coffee, an' a mandolin in case I get a chance to do a bit o' buskin'.

See ya'll in three days ... yaqi da ...

I think you meant iechyd da (Cymraeg/Welsh for good health) as in 'iechyd da y pob yn.'
