Default Am I getting old?

Vogon? Never heard of it! This is what I found out.
http://www.vogonpoetryblog.com/
http://www.vogon.us/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vogon_poetry
Then I spotted this!
Quote:
Vogons are extremely ugly, extremely officious, and generally not much fun to be around.
They emerged from the seas of the planet Vogsphere, and gave up on evolving there and then. Only their stubbornness allowed them to survive.
They generally become bureaucrats in the galactic government. Their unpleasant demeanour makes them ideally suited to such employment.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/hitchhikers/guide/vogon.shtml
Now I'm beginning to get it! Well, there are certainly Vogons in this New Labour project. They're the sort that give a sly smile when, having explained something in Blairspeak, the poor hapless listener suddenly gets the point!

Excellent idea for a new section! I do need to keep up with Ukipper thinking though!

Well as a relative youngster in UKIP terms (I'm a mere 45 years old...lol...) I do remember the good old days when Hitch Hicker was a radio series, then a TV Series and now of course a Hollywood Blockbuster......the lovely Trillian still figures in my dreams and I always know where my towel is....just remember that we are not the second most intelligent species on this planet, we are actually third......the mice are always watching...........

How long do you recon it would take Deep Thought to answer the question "What is the meaning of the EU, The Commission and everything?"

Maybe THAT is the secret of the EU Project, we're being integrated INTO phpbb_one huge supercomputer to answer the ultimate question, that's why we all have to obey the same stupid rules to ensure all our operating systems are compatible......

OR........ maybe the mice are just playing a joke on us all.....trying to see how ludicrous they can make the situation before one of us stupid humans notice...?

...so that explains why the Norwegian Fjords (award winning) are outside the EU.

It should never have left the radio waves. I have an old taped copy and tried to buy a new one recently but the chap in Virgin couldn't find one on the system. I hope they bring it out on CD some time. Although there is a bit cut out of the official version, where Marvin hums Pink Floyd, which I assume is to save on royalties

Thanks for that. Strangely, after being told it was unavailable by Virgin, I didn't search further.
