Dudley council has banned items featuring pigs; products include toys, porcelain, calendars and even a tissue box featuring Pooh and Piglet, following a complaint from one Muslim worker who said they were offended by some of the items.
Mike Williams the councils head of finance, said the member of staff had been offended by the products in the run up to Ramadan which starts on Tuesday, he said the decision will be taken after the festival ends about whether the items are allowed back. Councillor Mahburbur Rahman a practising Muslim agreed with the action taken. (No ****) I wonder how long it will be before they ban Butchers from selling bacon. |

They must be. It's a perfect way to start one isn't it. I'm sharpening the bayonet on my AK 47 right now. The filthy dogs must die. |
