Check this out. One protected PC species, namely Peter Tatchell’s band of merry (gay?) men, attack another PC protected species that is currently infiltrating the Church of England. PC protected species number two, interestingly, is not too keen on it’s fellow species that is trying to change the definition of marriage. This has happened before with Muslims and homosexuals. The Thought Police have now been contacted.

It has been announced today that Scottish Rangers are to go into administration, and the other day Plymouth was also on the verge of bankruptcy. I wonder why? If you think about it, football is all about the fans supporting their team and having a good time. If they get that then they will pay the money. No business could survive without its customer's loyalty. However, the pursuit of political correctness above what the customer actually wants is going to end in only one way. Also there is, it seems, a bit of a hype bubble that has been expanding for some time with football. The trouble with hype though is it just creates a transient boost in popularity rather than long-term stability. Where hype makes something go up, it will always come back down again sharply. Maybe at some point some new managers will think to themselves that it might be good to select footballers that the fans can identify with, as opposed to this idea of making the ‘English’ team look like it is from Africa.
