Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has really acted in the way described in this article:

then they should be slapped down and forced to apologize to the Mayor for their disgraceful behaviour.

I've already written to the Council concerning their treatment of Tom.

The more I hear about idiotic councils, the more it seems we need to sack all the council workers and employ sensible people instead (and far LESS of them!!).

Are council workers fit for anything else other than working in an environment where doing your job is a side issue compared to diversity, equal opportunities and health and safety?

Perhaps this isn't the full story.

Cllr Wilson is already banned from voting at council meetings until February 15 after previous misdemeanours including being photographed in his mayoral chains at a health club and accepting three months’ free gym membership.

The guy has strange views, but is pumpkin judging really a civic duty?
