    Default Homeless, and British..

There are tens of thousands of people living on Britain's streets now, and many have done so for years. I just don't understand how your welfare state can support & house huge numbers of long-term unemployed, new 3rd world immigrants, and single career-mothers etc etc and yet also allow such numbers to live rough like this. Even teenagers are homeless too. Drugs and alcohol account for a lot of it, but also people who have slipped right through the safety net .. and they are visible on your streets. To be homeless has got to be the very depths of despair, particularly in Winter.. and all this in a country that wastes money with abandon when their own citizens sleep in doorways. I am not concerned with how they got into their situation, only that they get help .. and this is one thing that tax money should be rightly used for, whatever it takes, to get these people safely sheltered.

There are homeless people all over the world. The solution isn't welfare it's population control. The whole system of human population management is wrong for the way humans now live. Primitive practices and behaviours are being dragged into the developed world and the people who will really suffer in the end are all those who behaved themselves and did the responsible thing. These decents will be beset by hordes of human sc*m that will rampage over their living areas, kill, rob and destroy until civilization itself is no more and humanity is back to the brutal level from which it emerged thousands of years ago. Evil happens when ordinary people do nothing and ordinary people are prevented from acting because ideology and the law prevents them from defending what they have built and worked to preserve. Offering this to invasive immigrants is foolish beyond redemption but so is allowing the system to be exploited by indigenous flotsam.

I think Dee that to be a British citizen and be so helpless as to live on the streets, and be left there, is an indictment of society's failings. There is no question Britain is overcrowded, and that millions of unneeded people have been allowed to settle there taking up housing and resources. So many of those homeless are British, and see around them normal life going on in their own country whilst they sink further down into oblivion. I say throw a truckload of money at it .. and redirect the wasted foreign aid payouts (bribery) to pay for it.

They are already doing this. I saw a government project for skills teaching. But I also saw the youth rejecting it. I saw also youth accepting it. Now here lies the rub and the solution and the truth. Those who go for the deal will progress out of the hole and those who are arrogant enough to reject it will become the problem and will be responsible for the kind of vandalism you see break out every now and then with yobs swinging on the Cenotaph and aggressive masked vandals breaking windows, looting and burning cars. The "anarchists" who are really just excess baggage in any civilization.

If people go to school, behave and learn, pass their exams and go on to develop further skills they will always have the edge. If times change and they lose their jobs they will have the experience and strength of character to climb out of this and struggle on. The problem with Europe as awhole is that socialism has produced hordes of people increasing technological advancement cannot use. So it's population management again. Handouts have produced hordes of people who don't understand survival and competition and the need to be sharp and willing and to take life's knocks and get up and try again. It's no use trying to fix things now. Things are broken now. It will take a major effort on the part of both government and the people to get out of what looks sinisterly like a major collapse. The people have the ability to do this but whether those among them who sow chaos will allow any solutions to these problems remains to be seen.

America has similar problems but Americans are still resourceful and willing to do whatever it takes. They can thank the fact that they aren't welfare dependents for this. They still have entrepreneurial spirit and the courage to take this as far as it will go. Many emigrate to Canada so they can suck on the social system there instead. Those who can't, or won't buck up will fall by the wayside and it is unfair to demand that those who can must be ruined on the rack of those who won't. This is a problem worldwide (India is possibly a worst case scenario) that has been growing for centuries and is the result of the industrial revolution and the advances science has made since. Plus backward belief systems creating unsustainable cultures. More people are surviving but the birthrate has only been adjusted among the intelligent. The obstreperous, the crude, the useless, criminal and the plain obnoxious still breed out of control and as you say, with the advent of immigration into systems of religious fanatics who have no interest in giving up their primitive beliefs or practices for the needs of genuine civilization, then disaster will be the fruit of any simple minded social engineering projects foisted on people by truly irresponsible and utterly incapable political think tanks and their gaggles of useless career politicians. The voters, of course, by means of extant democracy and ingrained autocratic traditions, have kept these in power and so now must take their bitter medicine worldwide. Vote for poison and you'll die.

Dee .. people become homeless for many reasons. You expect to see it in 3rd world countries, but it is a shocker to see it in the 1st world. The sight of people sleeping on the street degrades us all. Vast amounts of tax money is wasted on stupid things .. we all know this .. but I would not begrudge any money being used to shelter the homeless. And I am referring here to Britain or any civilized country.

The number of homeless has increased dramatically since the end of last March, when the charities who deal with homelessness effectively as sub-contractors to councils had their funding slashed. Where I live that put 1500 people without help which is expected to rise to over 13000 when the housing benefit cuts start.

It's been reported that the Tory welfare reforms will mean another 100,000 homeless next year. Meanwhile by the time the last reveller has wended his weary way home in the early hours of New Year's Day, our population will have increased by almost 7,000 people.

Then we can start welcoming in the quarter of a million who will arrive to settle here next year.

    Say thank you to Mr.Cameron.

No one knows how people become homeless better than I do. But when vast numbers become homeless there is a bigger problem at stake that is both socio-political and economic. It is usually a problem that has been simmering for a long time and hasn't been tended to. Suddenly some economic dip causes a sinkhole and people end up on the street. Allowing mass immigration into sytems where this is a danger in itself is irresponsible and stupid but it's too late to talk about that now as it has happened. The question is why has it happend and how can the problem be solved.

I think merely being anti-Muslim will do no good at all, even if you utterly detest these people and their religion. It is far better to spend that energy detesting those who caused the problem and these comprise both the governments in power at the time and the people who voted them into power and did not protest when mass uncontrolled immigration was allowed. Instead when anyone raised the issue they were stomped on by the people, the indigenous people. The immigrants who are exploiting the system will vanish the moment the sytem tightens and disallows exploitation. This isn't happening and it isn't happening because the indigenous people keep stomping on anyone who raises the subject of the wages of fast breeding foreign economic migrants. They don't mind raising it about fast breeding indigenes. They tend to be aggressive toward their own kind. So one has to blame the section of the population that pefers to place its fingers in its ears and go "la-la-la-la" instead of helping to solve the problem.

The obvious immediate plug is to stop all illegal entry and to deport all illegal residents. But what usually happens is they give all illegal residents a passport and continue to pretend that invasion is not happening. Bribery is rife and whole people trafficking operations are enriching themselves on this inherent weakness. Until people become more realistic the hole will get bigger and more people will fall into it. Also no one can just expect a government to "create jobs". Governments don't create jobs the economy does. So if there is less work or even no work in some sectors because the economy is collapsing it is unrealistic to expect any government to just make work. The business infrastructure and industrial output are obviously in dire straits so "creating jobs" is a pipe dream until and unless something workable is done about building a new economy based on new idustries. With the labour and manufacturing markets moving to the east anyone who pretends they can change this is an imbecile. They should have been building for a new era long ago.

However, opportunities are always there for entrepreneurs and there will be a flush of new investments in time and this will create jobs, but unless the people are skilled to do these jobs immigrants who are skilled and willing to work will take the place of indigenous workers.

Obviously, the British must educate their own to do these jobs and for this to be successful in any way the people must be prepared to apply themselves. Those who can already do, it is those who won't that will cause the problem and cause this ferocious antagonism to immigrants who are tough and willing to do anything and exploit anyone. That is the nature of things and being a "good person" isn't a solution to being an intelligent person and getting on with solving the problem. This still doesn't mean that flotsam has the right to fill in time by breeding and squeezing the tax payer. In the rest of the world housing isn't given away for free. To own a home, to keep it and to have the privilege of this you usually have to work. It is foreign to most people that you are provided with housing and anything else your little heart desires. In Nature you get everything for yourselves and you trade. In socialism you hang around moaning and wait for someone to give you a house then you immediately set about having a baby a year with as many different fathers as you can fit into your f*cking schedule and you use the cash to go on holiday and buy yourself presents. When you have too many offspring for your present free accommodation you screech to the council that you need a bigger house and they provide you with a lovely Victorian mansion that once housed a family who were the epitpome of hard work and intelligent endeavour. If you are an immigrant you often get preference over an indigene, but this doesn't mean that giving this house to anyone is a good idea. It isn't. It is a stupid idea and it has caused catastrophe.

I see people eating out of dustbins all the time, sleeping in shop doorways and lying out in the freezing cold under nothing but a newspaper and the stars. Indigenous people. Homeless. Not asking anyone for anything. Just the victims of a system collapse and overpopulation of a section of the population that cannot afford to have children they cannot afford to feed. The thing is that no one can afford to have children they cannot afford to feed and it is abnormal to expect others to accommodate this weakness. Sterilization is a solution after a certain number of children if the parents are helpless morons who cannot make use of free contraceptives. It is best that after a couple of children they cannot afford they are not able to create a further tribe they cannot afford and then demand housing for this. It isn't rocket science to see where these lunatic beliefs about society stem from and why they are now so extreme and people cannot escape the hole they dug for themselves.

Of course there are always those who do escape and they do so not because they are privileged or special but because they bother to get off their backsides and run. Many achievers come from the most horrendous of backgrounds. They change this by their own ability to confront their situation, look for an outlet and then go for the gap. The rest lie around whining and blaming everyone else.

Some people may be a paycheck away from the streets.. life is getting harder as the swamping continues.
I just feel too many British people have been marginalized due to the sheer volume of incomers, seemingly unstoppable, unless you can get out of the EU. Not all homeless people are drunks & druggies, although homelessness could turn you into one pretty fast.

Around 14 million people currently have no savings and little or no disposable income. We are at 5 seconds to midnight.
