Perhaps the conductor and the "big man" did not behave perfectly for you but only the fare dodger was doing anything genuinely wrong that day. Thanks to our bizarre and out of touch legal system it could be that he is the only one that escapes with no punishment. I'm not interested in the intellectual debate about legal technicalities like you, I just want the right people on the wrong end of the law.
Having been a victim of crime and also falsely accused of a crime I can guarantee that this does not happen. The law is a farce and that is thanks mainly to people like you that defend it on a technical basis when it is quite clearly failing society.
Care to explain that?
That is what he claims, it may or may not be true.
It in no way alters the fact that he was not in possession of a valid ticket, and it was his responsibility to ensure that he was, and he thus had no right to be on the train, no right to abuse the official, and no right to delay other people's journey.
Which part of that are you unable to understand?
You know precisely **** all about me matey, I am to the far right of Ghenghis Khan when it comes to law and order, the "Big Man" was well out of order because he had no need of doing this:-
The point is it transpires he was NOT a fare dodger. A huge man like that has no need to leave someone with a facial injury like that. Which is why when I marshall a motorcycle rally, I don't deal with anyone who gets stroppy, I radio for some assistance from Security who are the same size as Chewbacca in StarWars, (and who don't look much different.)
