Oh, and if you think 'you are a plank' is the kind of level you need to achieve to look good in this flame war, think again!

I have no need to devalue myself I was merely responding to your level. I know it was wrong but hey one has to relax occasionally.

Devalue yourself? You have about the same value as one pfennig during the last years of the weimar republic.

Even with rampant inflation, one 'bobfm' after 50 years of compound interest would scarcely buy a used piece of chewing gum.

    had enough yet?

Nope keep it coming and I will report it. You are clearly a disgrace as a moderator, but I guess you know that.

Nick Jones came in 5th place in the last general election, with I think Green ahead of him by 1000 votes or so.

The blog link earlier had some speculation. I haven't heard anything else yet.

So it might depend on (a) which wards Nick Jones got his votes in during the general election and (b) what the local UKIP has been doing in the four years since then.

Wanstead is more suburban and middle-class, with attractive Edwardian housing set amongst open green spaces like Wanstead Flats. The two normally safe Conservative wards though are easily outvoted by safely Labour Leyton rendering this a safe Labour seat, though Harry Cohen saw his share of the vote drop by 12% at the last election, mostly to the benefit of the Liberal Democrats who took second place.

Well it would seem to be a safe Conservative seat but with mention of anger at the local Tory party, I guess that could make things closer between UKIP BNP and Tory

No idea where to find ward-by ward voting records for the area in the last general action.
