Usual subversive post from chikrodah using the EU's political correctness to undermine Petrina. We know you're on the other side, chikrodah.

Wise had an embolism in the Strasbourg Parliament chamber which he probably wouldn't have survived if help hadn't arrived instantly. He will be filled with rat poison (warfarin) as a blood anticoagulant and continue.

Tom Wise has wasted a fabulously powerful position as an MEP with which he could have made real progress against the EU.

He's betrayed tens of thousands of UKIPpers, is at last suspended from UKIP as an embezzler, but his misdeeds against UKIP are legion, like taking UKIP's wine distribution system and the membership list (breaking the Data Protection Act) and using it for private profit, and he has admitted committing fraud.

He is the worst of an appalling bunch of UKIP MEP's, living off the fat of the EU gravy train. His glutton's lifestyle at our expense is responsible for his deteriorating health.

Whether he's alive, dead, or halfway in between changes none of this. It would be difficult to find a more revolting or repugnant repesentative.

The horror is there is no way to get rid of him.
    David Noakes.

My understanding was Mr Wise claimed expenses to pay a researcher - only paid said researcher a fraction of the money claimed - and purchased a car with the said money - hence suspension and OLAF investigation.

He is not suspended from UKIP.

The rest of your posting is no more accurate.

Tom Wise frauduently claimed a total of £180,000 for an assistant, and instead used the money for himself. A small part of it, for example, he used to buy a car. All of that was illegal and criminal.

Tom Wise has had the UKIP whip suspended because he was embezzling, as GC, given how close he is, well knows.

Aren't you, GC, paid by our EU government, and isn't that why you are defending others who, like yourself, support the EU dictatorship and undermine Britain?

And won't you support an embezzler till you're blue in the face, as long as that embezzler is furthering the cause of the EU?

Since when is acting honourably PC? Or do you, too, subscribe to the 'kick them when they're down' philosophy? If showing compassion is subversive, then I'm obviously guilty.

Tom Wise has wasted a fabulously powerful position as an MEP with which he could have made real progress against the EU.
Your opinion, and not relevant to my post; TW has family and friends who, no matter what he has done, would be harmed by his death and who would be wishing for his speedy recovery. Petrina's post didn't show her in the best light, although I can imagine her frustration at not being able to get on with what she must perceive as her version of the fifth labour of Hercules.

No doubt you are party to the full documentary evidence concerning these assertions. Otherwise, of course, you could be on the receiving end of strongly worded letters from his legal representatives.

I made no judgement re TW as I know nothing of the case other than what has previously been reported. I happen to trust Foggo's research and would tend to trust his reporting; however I am sure that there are, as always, two sides to this story.

It has to be said that your venomous and vituperative comments re TW are remarkable in their similarity to those of another anti-MEP contributor - are you sure you're not channelling GLW?

We know you're on the other side, chikrodah.
Gosh darn it, and there I was thinking my secret was safe.

Chikrodah, don't talk drivel. I won't hear from Wise's legal representatives. The last thing they want is yet more publicity for his frauds. I'm a newspaper editor, and your suggestions are naive.

You don't act honourably, Chikrodah. To undermine your nation is as dishonourable as you can get. So less of the hypocrisy.

Petrina's posting was perfectly honourable, as you are well aware.

Yes, Wise will have a few friends. But you deliberately forget the million British people he's let down, and that's what counts.

The only bright side with people like you is history has often shown, with the French Revolution, the Russian in 1917, and the Nazis, that the people who helped build the dictatorship will be the first to be closed down.

If they did it once, they could do it again, and need to be neutralised. You will hate your future in the EU police state you are helping to build. And there will be nothing you can do about it.

    illegal - Definitions from Dictionary.com
contrary to or forbidden by official rules, regulations, etc.:
Which one of these do you think isn't illegal?

"The payments office was told by Wise that Jenkins’s salary was £36,000-a-year but his actual agreement with her was to pay her only £6,000 a year for general research work with any additional projects to be paid for separately."

"Over the same period Wise paid out a further £19,425 from the account to other recipients, including himself. One payment, made on January 4, 2005, was made from his Stags account to another Co-op account also held in his name. This money was then used to buy the Peugeot. Other payments, including several four-figure sums, were also made."

"In a further breach of EU rules, some of the money paid to Jenkins was for work unconnected to Wise. Nigel Farage, UKIP’s leader, had agreed to help fund publication of Jenkins’ Eurosceptic book, Disappearing Britain, in return for a grateful mention inside the cover. However, that money, which amounted to around £4,800, came from Wise’s account, irrespective of the fact that using taxpayers’ funds for such a purpose was a breach of EU rules."

"Wise, a former policeman, pretended that his own bank account was actually that of Lindsay Jenkins, his researcher."

    Absolute nonsense.

Sorry, I was trying to be helpful, but I can have no more to do with this drivel.

    Thanks for the fish.
