Oh, so finishing second in a national election ahead of Labour and the Lib Dems isn't significant?

Or perhaps finishing second in a parliamentary by-election in Barnsley isn't significant?

Or polling between 5-7 per cent in the opinion polls isn't significant.

This just goes to show how little you know about politics. Nigel has without doubt been the most successful UKIP politician since the Party's inception.
I think it was debated elsewhere on this forum that Roger Knapman was as successful if not more so in certain areas.

Rubbish. Under Knapman's leadership, the Party was NOT polling at 5-7 per cent in the opinion polls as it is now; nor did the Party have as many councillors as it does now. Knapman never brought as much publicity to the Party as Nigel has. In case you forgot, according to the BBC, Nigel Farage is in the top 10 most viewed British politicians on YouTube.
UKIP, Britain's fourth largest political party.

Gosh if he is so fantastic why did he only come third , behind and Independent, in Buckingham at the last General Election??

Also during Knapman's leadership Nigel was of curse still the main UKIP media spokesman.

As to U-tube political hits they sadly seem to reflect gimmicks rather than anything of a serious political nature and I grant you Nigel is good on gimmicks which help keep up his profile for his own selfish ends.

But accumulated more votes than any other UKIP candidate in the 2010 general election.

However, Farage was not able to act in the capacity of leader of a UK political party.

Farage is in the top 10 because he's POPULAR with the British public, especially on issues concerning the European Union!

Great, Nige, is popular, I'd say entertaining is nearer the truth. Popular or not, why does it not translate in votes at the ballot box and why did he himself do so poorly at the last election?

I take it you won't be voting UKIP in future. What perfect party will you be supporting next time?

I have a choice of the LibLabCon, Greens and UKIP. UKIP is the least worst choice, but I wish they'd actually do something to get into Westminster. TBH, if the Tories got rid of Dave, they might get my vote back if it was the right leader.

My local Tory MP is anti-EU which makes a vote for them a possibility for me but in the same way UKIP remain the least worst choice. UKIP could do with a kick up the **** but I don't see how Mr Warry's tactics of standing against them helps the situation at all.

So still can not answer the questions I see and has to return to throwing petty insults.
But I guess to be expected.....
