It's no good writing things like "let's look at the facts shall we, Warry?" unless you really are going to be 100% accurate. Being out by a mere two leadership elections doesn't really cut the mustard.
In any case, KrisH set out a clear chronological timeline, beginning with the leadership election of 2006 and predicating everything that followed upon that. For your contribution to be of any assistance to him, BobFM, one would have to assume that almost 2.5 million people voted UKIP in 2009, for example, because Nigel Farage was elected UKIP leader in 2010.
