Its not a bad share but really they should be ahead of the Lib Dems by now and does anyone really beleive UKIP are going to poll well in the Local Elections this year?

I quite agree (should be ahead), but until they address the mega-serious issue of media bias, then behave like a mainstream party, things will not change.

I had a job believeing they were on 1%, and the poll - for me - shows 2 major talking points. Penetration of 18 -24 age group is still dismal, at 2%, where Greens have double at 4, but that looks like a significant improvement in the C2DE social sector, i.e. it looks like they've increased their vote share among "working class" voters.

Let’s not forget, the Liberal Democrats have an advantage: they’re a party in government. This subsequently leads to more media coverage and ultimately more exposure. So, while the Liberal Democrats have this advantage, they can quite easily broadcast their party political messages to the mass media, whereas UKIP can’t. This, I believe, will soon change once UKIP have elected MPs. I really do hope the Party gain at least two seats on the London Assembly this year.

It's a lot more than that, Kris, and you'll get nothing while such anti-UKIP bias has free reign. I've seen no changes since this.
