European Citizen: How important to you is a legal system based on the presumption of innocence, and habeaus corpus? With a euro in mortal danger and a war against Iraq pending, what should be EU policy concerning those two matters?

As for the rest of your post, it is nothing but tired eurosceptic rhetoric.
Typical response from people with no answer!!!

They are all utterly corrupt in the same way as the EU. NATO is probably the least though, since it has American influence, and they still have some idea about democracy. As for the others, well they are as bent as a nine bob note. No vote and that's what you get, just like the EU except the EU is sneakier and makes out it operates a democratic system by having their own Duma.

Go move to Norway if it's so great to be outside the EU. This great country has no place for whingers like yourself.

I have been a few times too. It's good but not great like Britain.

Yep. You cowardly Brits don't have the guts to demand a vote. Sometimes I think you make it too easy for us.

Wrong! 90% of people who voted yes, (me included) were conned by our own Politicians! If our own political leaders had been honest with us and said said, "staying in the "Common Market really means Britain will be giving up the right to govern itself", only a handful of 'Liberal Masochists' would have voted yes!

Your fault for being so naive and trusting them. No sympathy from me I'm afraid.
