This is interesting.

Scroll down to last paragraph of page 4.
If what the minister is now saying is the case . . . then HMG has ratted on its committment to amend the regulations.

What is the point of our parliament in Westminster if all it does is rubber stamp laws passed in Brussels?

Would you not agree that when you vote in a general election you vote for someone to run our country?

If like me you do vote for this reason then how on earth can you support the EU? as it is them who govern our country.

Tell me, with our own public services in drastic need of improvement and our roads with holes in them everywhere are we funding underground services in Warsaw?

The £100.000 per minute we pay into a corrupt regime that calls it self the EU is completly wasted, with money like this being thrown away no wonder Mr Osbourne is off sunning himself on the yacht with the Russians!!

Just a question too, when/if Mr Putin is removed from power in Russia (He is still in control despite not being president) what will happen to all these dodgy Russians who are splashing the cash in th UK?? Who will the Tories turn to for money then?? after all they will all be in jail!!!

You vote for someone to represent you in Parliament, not to govern the country.

As for the rest of your post, it is nothing but tired eurosceptic rhetoric.

The biggest party in parliament should govern the country; if people knew how much power had been given away, politicians and rabid europhiles would be strung up and lynched! Lucky Ted Heath died when he did...

The simplest solution from my perspective would be to make the EU fully democratic - preferably with an elected president and bicameral Parliament (scrapping the Council of The European Union, "CONSILIUM"). The only trouble is you eurosceptics would oppose that too.

The day they ask the British public to vote on a Johnny Foreigner president of the EU that they have never heard of before would be the beginning of the end for Britain's membership of the EU. I say bring it on

As UKIP some years ago ceased have any campaigns on issues , like EU propaganda packs in schools, this is a classic case of UKIP bleating and hand wringing with no plan to do anything about it or exploit the issue and get credibility on it.

UKIP has plenty of lawyers which it never makes use of ( except for threatening off liners, including this forum ) starting with Zuckerman. It could issue a guidance note and legal contact point for memebrs if stopped by police with the declared intention of taking a cause celebre right through the court system as a UKIP sponsored issue with max press coverage like the metric martyrs campaign not done by UKIP.

Better still it could arrange for one of the invisible MEPs to be the one stopped for such a crime.
