Fact is, we know the answer already to some degree. Any single donations of £5,000 or above have to be notified to the Electoral Commission and these and the name of the donator are published accordingly each Quarter.

I haven't looked for some long time; but have the names of any MEPs appeared on the Donations documents?

Electoral Commission shows since Q2 2004 the following have given cash donations to UKIP - centrally and locally. There are no additional MEPs who have given only non-cash donations. Many of the below have also given non-cash donations.

Batten
Bloom
Booth
Clark
Knapman
Nattrass
Titford
Whittaker
Wise

Some, of course, far more generous than others. I haven't added up all the figures but Whittaker & Booth certainly crop up again and again. Batten and Wise noticeably do not crop up again and again. Not to detract from the fact that Farage, Mote, Kilroy and Colman do not appear at all. (Colman quite possibly always subject to very different rules regarding the registration of donations before now.)

There is a story to tell Niall and if I was bothered I wouldn't continually post here winding people up,but it suits me to say nowt at this moment,although I have corresponded on this issue internally.

Don't polish your halo too vigorously on this forum as I get the feeling that it will rapidly tarnish!!
