[quote=Bob FM;548429]How very odd I attended a meeting this week where we were we told already have over 30% of the funds required and that is just from ongoing regional and branch events. We haven't even got going on the real fund raising yet.[/QUOTE
But Bobby, you reside in the Southwest Region which is a little better run than the others. Here in the Southeast region I have more credit on my Visa card than UKIP does in its fighting fund. |

Earlier in this thread I mentioned that many years ago I bought a tatty 18th century edition of the Letters of Junius from a second hand bookshop. I forgot to mention that the bookshop in question was in Woodbridge. Funny coincidence, junius?

There are a number of implicit observations offered by geezer ROCK (under a moss-covered one)
The argument was lost when the claim was made that Brian had never visited HO or the UKIP conferences. Yet clearly the successful and esteemed businessman has been to Colston Hall. Bristol and has been to New John Street in B,ham (near to Matalan with impressive, off-street parking). It was a Thursday morning or perhaps a Friday afternoon when he strolled into the second floor carrying a rolled up copy of The Sun. And incredibly he asked the secretary to make him a cup of tea (even though it was not her job she performed the task with admirable and patriotic finesse.) With panache and politeness she carefully placed the freshly brewed beverage in front of "tosser Seymour" and went about her more important business. Filing, faxing and communicating on a number of diifferent levels to senior members of The Party. Lord Seymour then smirked and made a comment about the weather and the poor form of the emails inserts and something about poor campaigning funds. This is where we lost respect for him and his zeal for a steady and noble cause. He may be forgiven but will need to disassociate himself from Under Rock and his wife. Amen to God save the Queen |

I'm not moaning about the event - I walked past that boat to work every day for 3 years - and I hope it turned a handosme profit
![]() What a pity, however, that there's no mention of the event as a a stunning succeess on the revamped UKIP London website ![]() |

It is a pity that there is no write-up for such a classy event. |
