So far as I can remember, the author was fairly bitchy in places, but did employ witty and incisive argument to attack the policies of his targets. He may have been right or wrong about this or that issue, but he was plainly a supporter of liberty and an opponent of arbitrary power.

The junius here, by contrast, seems to simply make things up in order to stir up trouble. Much of it is trivial, or banal and the few juicy bits usually aren't credible, or would only be believed by people who really wanted to believe them. The latter effect is pretty strong, though. If I started a new user acccount on this forum as, say, "John Amend-All" and wrote that a secret source had told me confidentially that Nigel Farage shags goats, then at least half a dozen people would reply within 20 minutes that they knew this all along, that the rest of the NEC shags goats too, that it shows he is unfit to lead UKIP, and that he should be reported to the RSPCA.

Many people speculated about the true identity of the 18th century Junius. I don't think many people will bother speculating about the identity of our own dear junius here (should I call him Junius Junior?). I suppose he is either working for the Labour Party on an internship or else is a pal of GLW. Does it really matter which it is? His smears aren't even outrageous above to be really rivetting. Try harder, lad! Try cranking up with the Sunday Sport before you start posting! At least it has some imagination and a sense of humour.
Well put Tom - Agreed.... This sort of attitude - full of innuendo is hardly helpful

Great idea to use such a symbol as a fund rasing vehicle, but no doubt as mentioned, there are many events lined up over the coming months to raise UKIP profile................. I've no complaints with NF - he works damn hard that I can see to keep UKIP in the game, and unnecessary piffle is really not helping...

Compared to who? UKIP doesn't have millions of pounds of debt and membership isn't in terminal decline. Even the English Democrats have over £100k of debts.

Not rebellious - just having her own opinion and expressing it. That's what she does, that's why she got the most votes in the NEC election.

She offered.

Some of which are personal friends. Jealous?

Wrong again - anyone who knows Jill knows that she couldn't be quiet if her life depended on it. I mean that in a good way.

He didn't, nor would he have needed to. If you knew Brian then you'd know that he would do anything for his wife and his country. He is an extremely generous man who literally does put his money where his mouth is.

You'd rather the party tapped up the same people over and over again for money instead of trying to attract new supporters and donors?

You clearly have no idea just how much money, time and effort the Seymour's put into UKIP. Perhaps you should make an effort to meet the people you're insulting. You could start with an apology for being ignorant and rude.

Well said Tom.

However, I don't believe this witless Junius Junior is a Labour man. I'm sure he is just another of the UKIP self-destruct morons who have driven so many intelligent people out of the party.

Secondly some things need and tend to be posted in a succinct way.

2.) The posting that Junius made was incisive, satirical and well-written. He addressed the problems of Jill Seymour and her moronic husband and refused to let other matters disrupt his chain of thought-command.

3.) He obviously has insider-knowledge and contacts and is able to sift thru the information and recent events (central and peripheral) and promulgate them to a wider audience.

3.) There was humour and it was not a rambling diatrabe like some people prefer to do.

4.) He is not D. Denny.

5.) It is relating to current, important events and concerns Our Country. (it is Britain)

6.) All that tittletattle and I think he was wrong.

No, it was UKIP-bashing claptrap written by some tosser who doesn't know anything about the people he insults. Clearly the same situation with you except "tosser" is far too polite a word for you. It's idiots like you that make loyal, generous and hard working UKIP supporters wonder why they bother.

Third-hand information at best, probably paraphrasing Andrew Edwards, the BNP troll. The only people who have first-hand experience of NEC meetings are the people in the room when the NEC meets.

It is constantly amazing to me how posters on this forum feel the need to insult people they have probably never met. The poster "Akebono" for example tried to defend "Junius" and lost the argument completely for me with one word.

Why did he feel it was necessary to include "moronic"? If you can't make a point without insulting someone then its a sad day. However, Akebono is probably just a stupid tosser without an original thought in his (or her) head. F**k off and Die!

Well I can tell you that Brian is a successful businessman and very intelligent. Certainly not a moron. But then Akebono wouldn't know that because like most the people here who slag off NEC and other members, they don't actually know the people they're talking about.

In a desperate attempt to raise money Nigel has booked HMS Belfast. He hopes to persuade ‘the great and the good’ to donate hundreds of thousands of pounds to UKIP’s war chest. Various Lords, admirals and minor politicians have been invited in an effort to persuade them to part with some cash. Even Mr Bannerman will be there to explain how he is related to Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman.

UKIP’s financial position is rather dire at the moment. They don’t even have enough money to fight an effective Euro campaign. Nigel is worried that the increase in support for the Tories and the BNP could very well destroy UKIP’s electoral chances and end his dream of getting back into Brussels.

The event has been organised by Jill Seymour and was apparently paid for by her husband. My sources inform me that it cost him between £9,000 and £10,000.

Our Jill has been proving rather rebellious lately. On more than one occasion she has spoken in favour of Robin Page, John West, Eric Edmond and Del Young. She even complained to one NEC member that she felt ‘left out by Nigel’. As you can imagine Nigel was far from pleased. He likes his NEC compliant and preferably silent.

In order to shut her up he offered her the chance the organise the event. Nigel knows that Jill loves meeting aristocracy and c list celebrities. How could she refuse such a tempting offer? As expected, Jill took the bait and is now as quiet as a mouse. How Nigel managed to persuade her husband to pay for it is anyone’s guess!

If you fancy listening to Nigel and don’t mind paying a very large entrance fee why not go along to HMS Belfast. Be there for 6.30. Ordinary UKIP members are not welcome.
It will take more than a trip to HMS Belfast to save UKIP WHICH fARAGE HAS EFFECTIVELLY TRASHED

Ah, if only he'd been a swivel-eyed loon and joined your campaign, eh? Think how different it all would have been. Oh, and if the government hadn't repealed the legislation in question.

Hahaha
