These courts have no more authority than Beth Din courts, they can only be used when both parties agree to them, they can do nothing do contravene UK law and regardless of any results/verdicts either party in the case still has full access to the UK legal system and do not forfeit any rights be taking part in these proceedings.

This level of incompetence drives me crazy.

That is not the danger. The danger is in allowing a growing and in many cases hostile community to replace our laws and customs. Each step brings forth a counter claim.

This is probably part of UKIP's drive against Islam - which they outlined in their draft cultural policy. I think it's their way of trying to appeal to BNPers.

Well, they have never written accompanying articles before to back up policies. All the previous policies have been announced into a vacuum and then quietly forgotten. If they are attempting to back it up, then it is an improvement (even if it hasn't worked properly in this particular case).
